Todd & Robin's Baby Shower
Saturday, July 24th, 2010

We had the honor and pleasure of celebrating Todd & Robin's baby shower at mom & dad's house.  The party was so sweet, beautiful, and touching.  We enjoyed great food and great company!

Todd, Robin, and Jillian got loaded up on baby stuff!

Monkeying around at the Zoo!
Sunday, July 18th, 2010

The Sunday after watching dad at the racetrack we took a short drive from the hotel over to the Ft. Worth Zoo.  Again with the heat!  We didn't get to see everything, but boy did we see a lot!  My camera was out of batteries by now, so again, big thanks to Mike and Kathy for sharing their photos!  The kids had a blast!  We definitely have to do this again some time ... maybe in the fall ;)

Medieval Times
Saturday, July 17th, 2010

The evening after watching dad at the racetrack, the family took a drive over to Dallas for a Medieval Times dinner and show.  Thanks again to Mike and Kathy for sharing their photos!

The kids LOVED it, and so did the adults!  Keira might have preferred it to not be so loud, though!

The food was awesome!  Soup, ribs, chicken, potatoes, dessert!

What a great show!  The horses were so beautiful and well trained.  We watched a falcon swoop around the arena.  Sparks flew during the jousts and sword fights!

The only bummer was that we got there right before the show started, so we didn't really have time to view all the neat stuff outside the arena.  There was a little museum and also windows into the horses' stables.  There were so many people once it was over, there was no room to really go look at stuff.  We were exhausted anyway, so back to the hotel we went and hung out at the pool!

It's been a busy summer for the Winglers.  A bunch of us went to Ft. Worth on the weekend of July 17th to watch dad drive a race car!  It was soooo hot outside, but watching dad tear up the racetrack was too cool!  He did so well that the professional driver that he drove with asked him if he had done this before!

Big thanks to Mike and Kathy for sharing these photos with us!
